BRITISH PATHE - A Journey from 1896 to 1976

Before television, people came to movie theatres to watch the news. British Pathé was at the forefront of cinematic journalism, blending information with entertainment to popular effect. Over the course of a century, it documented everything from major armed conflicts and seismic political crises to the curious hobbies and eccentric lives of ordinary people. If it happened, British Pathé filmed it.

British Pathé was once a dominant feature of the British cinema experience. Before the advent of television, millions around the globe came to movie theatres for their weekly dose of filmed news. The birth of this phenomenon took place when renowned French filmmaker Charles Pathé came to London in 1910 to introduce an innovative medium to British audiences – the cinema newsreel.

Putin: Communism and Christianity are the Same and Lenin is a Saint

The following excerpts of Putin's interview taken from HERE

“There were those years of militant atheism when priests were eradicated, churches destroyed, but at the same time a new religion was being created. Communist ideology is very similar to Christianity, in fact: freedom, equality, brotherhood, justice – everything is laid out in the Holy Scripture, it’s all there. And the code of the builder of communism? This is sublimation, it’s just such a primitive excerpt from the Bible, nothing new was invented.”

“Look, Lenin was put in a mausoleum. How is this different from the relics of saints for Orthodox Christians and just for Christians? When they say that there’s no such tradition in Christianity, well, how come, go to Athos and take a look, there are relics of the saints there, and we have holy relics here,”

Putin's statements are in the right direction. Communism and Christianity are not just have some similarities. Both are one and the same, spawned from the same root.

Echoes from Glen Coe

"I am the one, who is also welcome as "Hi ri ri tha e tighiun" in the past life.
It is an omnipotent spirit where my eyes look through the glass of a six-fold pentagram and my words are too powerful to defeat.
I have become "Emperor Proscriptor Magikus McGovern" after destroying the wooded fortress of Xalteun, where I was accompanied by fellow serpentines, wolves, and thy dragon of Keppoch.
We were in complete control for once, which I drink the green, herbal elixir and chant my thaumaturgical proscriptions for the black opalith for tomorrow.
My eyes look through the crystals of this opalith and in remembrance, I see myself when I was in mortal formation.
This was when thy kingdom and thy acquaintances were completely obliterated by an unknown horde from an unknown land.
It will always be proclaimed as "The Massacre of Glencoe:" Glencoe being the commencement of my blood and vein.
I could not take the grief and distress from what had actually occurred, so I called upon Tiphareth (twin serpentine of Atu: worm of the eight-fold pentagram) and the powers transformed me into this non-human fabrication as an actual king.
However, I became immortal as well.
With these powers, I was throned as an Emperor, including sortilege-type spells, magickal charms, vigorous strength, and abilities I have never felt or experienced before.
As I was searching for answers through the six-fold star, I suddenly knew where to capture and overthrow this feeble village of Xaltelln.
So, with the assistance from the lady serpentines, the wolves, and the fire from Keppoch's mouth, I burned this village completely down within 11 minutes.

Yes, I won!"

(The past immortality from the infamous McGovern Tribe (Eve of Imbolg, 1269 at Glencoe)

Once At Nuremberg

"I recently visited Germany and went to the "Reichsparteitag" in Nuremberg, the yearly rally of National-Socialist Germany.

What struck me most forcibly amongst the million and one impressions I received there were: (a) the wonderful fitness of every man and woman one saw, on parades or in the street: and (b) the refreshing atmosphere around one, the absolute freedom from any form of mental pressure or depression.

These people certainly live in spiritual comfort and the inspiring conviction of creating good. by next year they will have solved the problem of unemployment; there will not be a single soul on the dole in Germany.

To watch their boundless enthusiasm as they march past in endless formations, hailing their beloved "führer" Adolf Hitler is one of the most inspiring sites on earth. Hitler has a magnetic and most charming personality, which fully reflects the spiritual aspirations of this mighty people.

From Nuremberg I want to Munich, and there it was most striking to behold the individual fitness of this new Germany, with its organized and controlled national health. All the time I was there I never heard an angry word, and yet, far from being sluggardly, the people are keen and alert and full of life. They are happy; they are content and fully satisfied to live today for the glory of an ever better future.
Well may Adolf Hitler be proud of the rebirth of this great country and of the rejuvenation of the German spirit. The germany of to-day is the most pleasant country, and the Germans, under Nazi rule, a splendid example to the white races of the world - a mighty people, upright and proud, as, indeed, they have every right to be."

Benito Mussolini - The Daily Life of a Man

"I love all sports; I drive a motor car with confidence; I have done tours at a great speed, amazing not only to my friends, but also to old and expirienced drivers. I love the airplane; I have flown countless times.
Even when I kept busy by the cares of power, I needed only a few lessons to obtain a pilot's licence. I once fell from a height of fifty meters, but that did not spot my flying. Motors give me a new great sensation of strength. A horseback ride on a magnificent sorrel is also for me a joyous interruption, and fencing, to which I devote myself, often with remarkable physical benefit, gives me great satisfaction. I ask of my violin nothing more that serene hours of music. Of the great poets such as Dante, of the supreme philosophers, such as Plato, I often ask hours of poetry, hours of meditation.
No other amusement intrests me. I do not drink, I do not smoke, and i`m not intrested in cards or games. I pity those who lose time, money, and sometimes all of life itself in the frenzy of games.
As for the love of the table; I dont appreciate it. I do not feel it. Especially in these last years my meals are as frugal as those of a pauper. In every hour of my life, it is the spiritual element which leads me on. Money has no lure for me. The only things as which I aim are those which identify themselves with the greatest objects of life and civilization, with the highest intrests, and the real and deep aspirations of my country."
