The person portrayed in the picture above is Thomas Cole. An American painter of the Romantic era.
Impressed by his work, almost a year ago I dedicated a post about a painting series he did named

Few days ago I received in a message from the people that run an official page about him with the request to spread this link further. So here I`m doing it.
