On The Details of History - The Mark Felton Productions YT Channel

Some weeks ago I came the very intresting Mark Felton Productions Channel on YouTube. There I found several nice made videos about some less know facts of the WWII era. Like "Nuremberg Executions 1946: What Happened to The Bodies?" , "Hermann Göring's Aircraft Collection Today", "Mussolini's Bodyguard Unit - The Duce's Musketeers" , "Hitler's Blutfahne - The Mystery of the Blood Flag", "Hitler's Uniforms 1920 - 1945" and things like that. And course many videos about all major battles, weapons etc from all sides, German, Japanese, American, British etc

Obviously Dr. Mark Felton is not David Irving. Do not expect that. Otherwise his channel would not be on YouTube right now. But, even if he goes with post-1945 (victor's) version of history, his works is oftenly neutral and there is no empathy or ideological prejudices.

The original master footage of his last debate with students has been found after 50 years from the filming.

Though they have different opinions to each other, Mishima addressed to and influenced the young audience with respect. Through the restored 4K footage and interviews of the people involved in the discussion, the people who knew Mishima at that time, journalists and authors of our times, the film pursues timeless thoughts of Mishima which appeals to the people even today."

The first of April 1955 mark the beginning on National Revolutionary struggle of EOKA. 

The guerilla organization of Nationalist Cypriots.

The fight was for the union of Cyprus with Hellas as one state for Greeks.

The Revolutionary struggle of EOKA was on many fronts. Against the foreign ruler (The British), against traitors (communists) and against the foreign invader (Turks).

The essence of the struggle captured by English photographer Robert Egby in the photo that follows.

 "The photo was taken on September 28, 1956 just outside Cyprus Mail office on Ledra Street. Two slain men were newly-arrived British intelligence officers."

 

"the three Britons had been in a camera shop boasting about how they had come to crush EOKA leader George Grivas. The shop clerk overheard them and informed the organisation, which caught up with them at a second shop."
